- The Apocalypse Dark Horse is a mean-looking Ford Bronco 6×6
- This super truck is powered by a 2.7-liter twin-turbo V6 producing 400 horsepower
- As the name suggests, it was created to survive any Doomsday scenario
This is the Apocalypse Dark Horse – the world’s first and only Ford Bronco 6×6 pickup truck.
Supercar Blondie’s Sergi Galiano traveled to Florida to check out the vehicle created to survive any Doomsday scenario.
It’s got 400 horsepower, 37-inch all-terrain tires, and comes complete with a massive pickup bed.
Sergi got to take the Dark Horse for a spin and checked out the factory where some of the craziest trucks are created.
They’ve even made one for Shaquille O’Neal, who’s known to have issues fitting into vehicles.
With up to 400 horsepower on board, they have in stock and ready to ship a Ford Bronco Dark Horse 6×6 that is ready to ship anywhere you need it – even if that’s on top of a mountain or deep inside a glacier. This particular example they have up for grabs is something that can never be unseen thanks to its textured black off-road ‘armor,’ weatherproof interior, widebody fenders, and custom bed plus roll cage. By the way, the brand claims their Dark Horse and Knightmare 6×6 are the world’s only Ford Bronco 6×6 widebody builds.
In particular, the example put up for grabs is ‘just’ $169k – which is a good deal compared to the Warlord, for example, which retails for at least $250k before adding custom options to the build. The copper exterior accents might not be for everyone, but for sure, the tan leather weatherproof upholstery is going to make sure this Bronco stands out in any crowd. As for performance, we dare not imagine the zero to 60 mph time in 6×6 as 400 horsepower suddenly doesn’t sound like much anymore. Alas, with the power sent to all six wheels, this is more of a rock crawler than a highway express, anyway.
Just in case you don’t want to bring a Ford Bronco 6×6 home, you can still tuck an Apocalypse 6×6 in the driveway because they have plenty of other options. At the time of writing, the inventory also included an all-black Juggernaut with the 6.2-liter supercharged Hemi V8 under the hood, 850 horsepower, and six-wheel drive, all for $249k.
If that one looked too menacing, you might want something that looks ready for modern warfare instead. As such, the third option from the roster is a turbo diesel Apocalypse Hellfire finished in Off-Road Armor Army Green and featuring another Cowboy Saddle weatherproof interior to go along nicely with the exterior copper accents. Of course, this one is more in line with the Dark Horse 6×6, as the company is asking $165k for the build. So, which is your favorite, and would you start the year with a new vehicle in the driveway featuring a bonkers 6×6 transformation or not?
