NBA Fans Debate Who Is A Better Offensive Player: Current Nikola Jokic vs. Prime James Harden

Nikola Jokic has been on a tear over the last few years. Since 2020, Jokic has established himself as one of the best offensive players of all time, winning 2 MVPs while becoming one of the most efficient scorers in NBA history. But where does Jokic rank among the all-time great scorers?

NBA fans on Reddit debated this topic, comparing current Nikola Jokic to prime James Harden during his time with the Houston Rockets. The debate was quite split, with fans arguing in favor of both stars as some of the greatest scorers in the history of the NBA.

Fans of both players have great cases to make for Jokic and Harden. The criticism that is usually leveled at Harden is that his offensive performances dip when he enters the playoffs. And while that may be true to some extent, it doesn’t take away from his incredible performances in the regular season.

Jokic Could Become An All-Time Great

Nikola Jokic has made it very clear, that despite all the individual accolades, there is only one thing he wants to win; the NBA championship. Jokic has the chance to do so, as he is only three wins away from lifting the Larry O’Brien trophy, bringing a championship to Denver for the first time in franchise history.

Jokic’s offensive prowess will be key to the Nuggets’ success. Jokic recently revealed the list of players who inspired him and molded his style of play, including some of Europe’s finest along with some of the best NBA big men of all time. A championship win this year would easily cement Jokic’s place among both those lists, and make him one of the greatest players to ever play in the NBA.
