BIGHIT MUSIC has made an official statement regarding BTS’s Jungkook’s recent posts on Instagram.
On September 14, Jungkook posted a photo on his dog Bam’s official Instagram account together with five hearts and the English message, “Artists are not guilty.”
As the colors of the five hearts matched the NewJeans members’ individual colors, many speculated that the post was made in support of NewJeans amidst their public conflict with HYBE.
Several hours later, Jungkook made another post on Bam’s account with the English caption, “Don’t use them.”
That same day, BIGHIT MUSIC stated that after checking with Jungkook, “We have confirmed that he made the posts because he thought that under no circumstances should young artists be dragged into conflicts or used as a shield.”
Earlier this week, the NewJeans members held a live broadcast on YouTube in which they addressed HYBE directly and requested that Min Hee Jin be reinstated as CEO of ADOR by September 25.
