Hannibal was everywhere during Man Utd’s win over Burnley

Attacking midfielder Hannibal made his first start of the season against Burnley – having come off the bench to score in the 3-1 loss to Brighton.

And Sky Sports have revealed he covered 12.9 kilometres during the game, more than any Man Utd player since Ten Hag took over at the beginning of last season.

Hannibal also boasts the most pressures per 90 minutes of any Premier League player so far this season.

He is averaging a sensational 100 pressures, 21.3 more than the next best in Rasmus Hojlund.

And those superb numbers have received widespread praise from the Man Utd faithful.

One fan said: “Great workhorse, just need him to show more of his technical side that I have seen at academy level.”

Another added: “Automatically a first team player, give him the chance while the hunger is still hot.”

A third replied: “So much energy.”

While a fourth responded: “New starboy is in town.”

And a fifth said: “The lad is going straight to the top 🚀🚀.”

Hannibal spent last season on loan at Birmingham where he played 41 times, scoring one goal and assisting another six.

He returned to Man Utd in the summer and is now taking advantage of both Jadon Sancho and Antony being unavailable.

Hannibal also started the 3-0 Carabao Cup win over Crystal Palace on Tuesday night.

And he has put himself in the frame to be a part of Ten Hag’s XI against Palace in the Premier League on Saturday.
