Luis Enrique criticized Mbappe after PSG’s win

PSG won the 5-goal chase with Brest thanks to Kylian Mbappe’s double. PSG lost a 2-goal lead in this match but still had the final victory when Mbappe scored from the penalty spot in the 89th minute.

Mbappe was criticized for provoking Brest fans

Mbappe’s kick was blocked by Brest’s goalkeeper. However, the ball fell too smoothly for Mbappe to kick in and score. After scoring an important goal, Mbappe made a silent sign towards the fans of the home team Brest and celebrated right in front of them.

Mbappe has received criticism for his actions. Coach Luis Enrique was also not happy with his student because it was an unnecessary and avoidable celebration.

“I don’t like things like that, it’s bad energy. It’s better if you enjoy the moment. You must try to keep positive energy. I don’t know exactly what happened.”

After the match, Mbappe took to social networks to respond to criticism and was determined not to admit his mistakes.

“Of course I had to sing with them because they insulted my teammates. Some of the critics have never set foot on a football field at any level.”

After this celebration, Messi was given a yellow card warning by the referee. The French player also had to leave the field to make way for Nordi Mukiele immediately afterwards. In the end, PSG retained the victory and rose to 2nd place on the rankings.
