Tiger Woods enjoys his life out of Golf with $650M investment

Although Tiger Woodshasn’t competed since last July’s British Open, his impact on golf continues in other ways, especially through his business ventures. One of his most notable recent projects is his involvement with PopStroke, a golf entertainment chain that’s expanding rapidly across the U.S. and aims to make golf a fun and inclusive experience for all ages.

PopStroke’s latest location in Daytona Beach, Florida, is nearing completion, with photos showing the progress on the venue’s lush greens and dining area.

The chain, founded by Greg Bartoliin 2018, opened its first venue in Port St. Lucie the following year, and Woods joined the effort in 2020. PopStroke has grown considerably since then, particularly after TaylorMade became an investor and partner in 2023.

The mini-golf chain has quickly become a hit in several cities, including Las Vegas, Dallas, Nashville, and Austin, with a current net worth of $650 million.

PopStroke isn’t just about golf-it integrates technology with an app that lets guests keep score and order food or drinks directly to their spot on the course. This mix of recreation and convenience is what makes PopStroke stand out in the growing market of golf entertainment.

Woods’ involvement in PopStroke is just one example of his business ventures outside of professional golf. His entrepreneurial side first emerged in 1996 when he launched the TGR Foundation, focused on providing education and support for underprivileged youth.

He also founded TGR Design, which has been responsible for designing notable golf courses such as Payne’s Valley, Bluejack National, and The Hay at Pebble Beach.

In addition to his work in golf, Woodshas expanded into the real estate and hospitality industries. He is a major investor in the Nexus Luxury Collection, alongside Justin Timberlake, and owns the upscale Woods Jupiter restaurant in Florida.

Most recently, Woods teamed up with Rory McIlroyto launch TMRW Sports, a venture that will introduce a high-tech, simulation-based golf league called the TGL League.
