Kevin Durant Calls Out Renowned Sports Analyst in an Abusive Rant After Feeling Hurt by Criticism of His NBA Achievements: The phrase “You’re Such a Clown”

There is no doubt that Kevin Durant is going down in the history books of the NBA. One of the greatest players in the game’s history, KD’s legacy is undeniable. However, there are some aspects that enable fans to question whether he is actually an all-time great baller or not. The elements that compel people to hail the likes of Michael Jordan and Kobe Bryant as the greatest ever – does Durant tick all those boxes?

Durant has been called a “bus rider” in the past for his lack of contribution in championship wins. Recently, an argument was floating around regarding the same set of questions. Although these conversations don’t really have an end to them, Durant decided to take matters into his own hands. In fact, the 2x NBA champion went on an abusive rant against a noted sports analyst for the questions he had regarding the Phoenix Suns forward.

Kevin Durant goes all out on Jason McIntyre

Any professional athlete gives their all to the game that they have played and practiced for years. When it comes to the greats of their respective field, the statement becomes obvious. So, in the case of Durant, it is a no-brainer that he takes his game very seriously. It has helped elevate him to the category of an elite athlete.

However, like any other world-class player, one is bound to be criticized as their actions are always under the microscope. It seems like KD couldn’t take it anymore and hence decided to take on Jason McIntyre himself.

McIntyre is a FOX Sports gambling analyst, and he also writes about NBA drafts. So, when he criticized KD for not being a brand himself and instead being a role player, the 2014 MVP took offense. Going off on the sports analyst, Durant sent multiple messages to McIntyre on his social media. He said, “You’re such a clown. You don’t even like sports, you look like a drama major.”

“It was never your brand when you won MVP and then 2 titles & finals MVPs,” McIntyre responded. The 34-year-old didn’t pull any punches from there and called McIntyre a “p***y” and “broke boy.”

This is not the first time that KD has clapped back on his criticism. He is known to have a beef with Charles Barkley for a similar reason.

The Charles Barkley and Kevin Durant beef

Barkley is known for his honesty when it comes to the league and its players. Chuck has been critical of Durant’s game and his persona on several occasions. As per Chuck, Durant is a “sensitive” individual who cannot take criticism.

Ironically, KD responded to Barkley’s comments on social media, perhaps proving his point. “I’ll never respect the words that come out ya mouth fam just deal with it,” KD responded to him on Twitter.
