The future of Kylian Mbappé remains uncertain. Mbappé’s contract expires next summer after opting not to trigger the option to extend his contract until 2025.

According to a report by MARCA’s Ramón Álvarez, a critical meeting occurred between Fayza Lamari, the mother of Kylian Mbappé, and officials from Paris Saint-Germain.

Álvarez notes that While no agreement has been reached yet, discussions are underway to explore potential solutions. Mbappé’s contract expiring next summer, and the possibility of him leaving as a free agent has increased speculation.

PSG cannot afford to lose the 24-year-old as a free agent considering the fallout it will cause financially. Among the interested parties, Real Madrid has consistently been linked with a potential move for Mbappé. 

The Spanish giants have long been admirers of the French forward and continue to view him as a marquee signing who can bolster their attacking prowess. 

While no definitive agreement has been reached between Mbappé’s camp and PSG, the possibility of a move to Real Madrid remains a strong contender. 

The allure of playing for one of the most storied clubs in football history alongside top-class talents, and working under the guidance of manager Carlo Ancelotti, could be enticing for Mbappé to continue his career.
