Kevin Durant and Steph Curry’s Special Moment Goes Viral

Former Golden State Warriors teammates Steph Curry and Kevin Durant are still close

Kevin Durant and Steph Curry have a unique history. While the two were arguably the best duo in NBA history, their time as teammates came to an end when Durant left to join Kyrie Irving on the Brooklyn Nets in 2019.

At the time, many felt as if Durant’s move to Brooklyn was due to the lack of recognition he was receiving in Golden State. While that’s never been stated by Durant, the superstar forward did admit having a weird feeling when Golden State won the 2022 NBA Championship, because he knew people would make it about him.

This dynamic has been going on for several years, but it hasn’t impacted the relationship between Curry and Durant. A recent clip from Curry’s “Underrated” documentary has been going viral, and it shows the two players sharing a special moment together after Curry broke the all-time three pointers made record in New York:

Regardless of how their time together ended, and what has transpired since, Durant and Curry will always have a special bond because of what they accomplished as teammates. A truly unstoppable duo, the two superstars dominated the league during their time together, including a 16-1 run in the 2017 playoffs.

This previously unseen footage has been going viral on social media, as fans are appreciating what was a special moment between two of the greatest players ever.
